Rissmaan – Tuesday, November 30, 2021; Nosrat Beheshti, a retired civil and cultural activist living in Mashhad, was released temporarily on bail from Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad until the end of the trial. She was arrested on August 4 and was recently sentenced by the Revolutionary Court of Mashhad to five years in prison. Nusrat Beheshti, who suffers from kidney pain, went on a hunger strike on October 24th to protest the opposition of prison officials and security forces from sending her to the hospital, and on October 28th, following her sed-out had ended her hunger strike at the hospital. In November of this year, she was sentenced by Branch 4 of the Revolutionary Court of Mashhad, headed by Judge Mansouri, to five years in prison on charges such as “propaganda against the regime” and “acting against national security.”
