Rissmaan – Saturday, January 29, 2022; Shohreh Hosseini, a translator and civil activist, was arrested and sent to Evin Prison to serve her sentence after attending the Evin Court’s Judgment Enforcement Unit. She had previously been sentenced by the Tehran Revolutionary Court to three years and three months in prison. Shohreh Hosseini was tried by Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran, presided over by Judge Iman Afshari, on January 18, 2021, and sentenced to four years and two months in prison on charges of “conspiracy and conspiracy to disrupt security” and “membership in dissident groups and propaganda against the regime.” This sentence was reduced to 3 years and 3 months in prison finally. Shohreh Hosseini was arrested by IRGC intelligence agents on October 2, 2020, and transferred to the detention center of this organization, known as Ward 2A of Evin Prison. She was released on bail of 500 million Tomans on October 6, 2020, until the end of the trial.
