Rissmaan – Saturday, May 7, 2022; Fariba Fereydoni, a civil activist, was summoned to the First Branch of the Khomeini Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office after receiving a notification. In this summons, she was asked to appear in this branch within 5 days from the time of notification. Earlier, after the case was declared incompetent by Branch 1 of the Khomeini Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office and the Revolutionary Court of Tehran, it was sent to Branch 34 of the Supreme Court to determine the reference for injuring public decency. In December 2021, the Second Judicial Branch of the Khomeini Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office issued a restraining order against this civil activist on charges of spreading lies. According to the lawsuit, this is the same charge based on a complaint filed by the security agency, which has now been referred to Branch 1 of the Khomeini Prosecutor’s Office by the Supreme Court.
