Rissmaan – Thursday, May 19, 2022, Ayub and Davood Shiri, Azeri activists, were detained by security forces and taken to an unknown location. The arrest of these citizens took place while leaving a mourning ceremony in one of the mosques of Tabriz and the other at his workplace. The reasons for their detention, the charges against them, and their whereabouts are still
unknown. These citizens have already been arrested and convicted for their activities. They were released from Tabriz prison on August 21, last year, at the end of their sentence.
