Babak Paknia, a lawyer, announced on his page that the trial of these citizens would be held in Branch 23 of the Revolutionary Court as a parallel branch. The request for a retrial of Mohammad Rajabi, Saeed Tamjidi, and Amir Hossein Moradi was accepted by Branch 1 of the Supreme Court in early December 2020, and their death sentences were overturned.
